My daughter was laughing today about something happened in her childhood. We were visiting my parents in a small west TX town, and my youngest brother and sister, little older than my kids, was excited about going to the show.

Now, on Saturday, you could get in the show for a Gandy Milk Carton, if you were a kid, and they did this a lot. But this was a Sunday show, something special. It took some doing to round up enough cartons for all the kids and they went trooping off to the theater to see the movie.

In about an hour they were back, mad as a bunch of wet hornets! We asked what happened, and they complained the man at the show had LIED! Seems the advertisement they'd seen for the movie, was "John Deere" and when they got there and gave up the precious milk cartons,..."there wasn't a deer, moose, or dog, in the show, just a bunch of dumb ole GREEN TRACTORS!!"
