Was watching the Memorial Day salute in DC this evening. Sure was done in a real touching way. They had a couple of soldiers from Iraq there who had lost limbs and one of them had his story narrated by a professional actor, and it was done so good. Then they had a violinist play Ava Maria, and as I don't get touched too often, it was outstanding. I am not catholic, but that to me is the most beautiful piece of music ever written. Got to thinking that the ACLU would not have approved this program, but too hell with them
they are singing God Bless America right now, that ought not go over too big either

Too bad the ACLU doesn't believe in he!! They will some day.
The Ave Maria is certainly a beautiful piece of music. I rank it right up there with Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring.

No doubt about it, Ave Maria is one of the best pieces of music ever. Aaron Nevell sang it at the close of the movie 'Alive'. He did a dang good job.
