I helped to rescue a horse from the mud today. My cousin had the mud removed from his pond and the horse got stuck in it. She's 27 years old. Her left front leg was up to the chest and the others were part way in. She had about given up. I took my backhoe up and we rigged her up and got her out. Took it real slow, trying not injure her. We were worried about the leg. She just layed there after we got her out. So we got her up and she was on her way, apparently unharmed.

It felt good doing something like that. The owner asked "What I owe you?". I said "nuthin".

Thanks for helping the old gal out Nathan. I've had friends with critters that got stuck in the mud and they didn't find them until it was too late.
