Avon Skin So Soft is the best skeeter repellant made.

I've seen hundreds of mosquito cures come sailing by over the years, and so far the mosquitoes are winning. Bug zappers attract moths not mosquitoes and they burn electricity. I put a softener sheet in my fishing hat and all it did was make my head smell better. My cousin was promoting a bottle of skin-so-soft at the fireworks last midsummer and a dozen of us guys had her dope up one of our arms. After about 5 minutes we were passing the Off around again cuz the avon stuff was no repellent atall. My buddy paid $100 for one of those Coleman rigs that burns propane - it didn't help either. Swat them and keep some Off handy. :)

Yes I do. Do you know not to put in on and go out in the sun? M y brother and I were brushhogging tall weed and the skeeter liked to carry us away put on skin so soft and like to blistered all my skin off.

It works even better during the gnat season.
Those little buggers make mean welts on me.
The original skin so soft bath oil keeps them off me.

That happended to me too, I am so allergic to that stuff. Very misserable when that happens. Benedryll helps relieve the symptoms of the allergy though.

George in TX    Posted 06-02-2004 at 14:49:01       [Reply]  [No Email]
I ain't doing so good at all. Went to sniff the seat of the bicycle of the lady next door and, since I'm near sighted, didn't realize she'd removed the seat for repair or sumpin. I leaned over for a sniff and poked myself in the eye wid the pipe seat support.

Life is not good.
