well y'all we made it 90 an hour mile winds...trees down..rose bushes torn up from the roots...1 dead chicken....fences needing repair, not a fruit tree standing that any longer has fruit on it except my plum tree 1 plum left...lots of cleaning up to do and just got the electricty back up...yeeehaw!....mean i get to take a shower in a few hours whe we have hot water...gonna have to fight jojo and michael fer the first shower lol......hey ron and the rest of y'all arkies make it alright?...anything i can do fer y'all?...dale anne

Wow, Dale Anne,
Sounds like you live in some dangerous country. I'm glad you are all OK. Things like that storm don't seem to get you down as I noted a hint of triumph in your cheer about getting hot water back soon.
I think you are part of one tough family.

You sound like you might live in western Kansas. Two days ago they (Wright KS)had some strong winds...something like 90 MPH. Anyway the wind blew over 68 empty railroad cars that were ready for the wheat harvest. It just layed them right over. Tonight's news said that the tracks would be clear by tomorrow and all the cars would be removed. Tne news also showed a couple of cranes picking up the cars and setting them back on the tracks.

Yep, it was mostly wind and lightning here but not as bad as you had. It kept me off the net most of last night tho. Thanks for asking. Are you ok otherwise?

To heck with roses. Everybody and nieghbors safe. Fruit trees salvagable? Garden going to feed ya's this Winter?
Important things first family and friends, food, shelter and warmth.
Yoour worrying about a hot shower. I'm trying to stay out of hot water. Glad all of your's are safe

it sure the top of our driveway a tree came down on some folks brand new gold color truck...not sure what kind it was...we didnt find out about it till late last night...winds were blowing so hard we never heard them crash...well we had a few trees down in the driveway also so couldnt see a thing either...and that chicken i seen it thrown across the chicken pen...I knew it was dead!....Michael and I went out into the storm to sucure the other critters...near brought my goats into the laundry room lol....really...Michael wouldnt allow it...but they faired pretty well besides being in a mess now...I cleaned up alot of it but cant mend the fences and all myself....will do it over the weekend did get them secured for's good to be alive and have lights lol....dale anne
