Making Hay

Last night I complained about seeing only one rabbit for wildlife all day long. Venting my frustration presumably upon the Michigan Tourism Council, somebody must have seen it, and made a few adjustments. Started off with five wild turkeys in the corn field this morning, a ring-necked pheasant just around the corner just before noon, umpteen rabbits (adults and babies) scurrying for their lives ahead of the hay-conditioner all afternoon, and one old domesticated turkey on a tractor who would have rather been fishing in his thoughts than trying to cut hay just a smidgen on the heavy as well as the damp side early evening.

Third Field’s Hay Tease
Having just gotten into this field making a few rounds some of the barnyard cows are on the frustrating side of the hot wire. Noses full of the new mown grass scent and they cant get at it.
