Looking for a Book

I am desperate to find a copy of a book. Written by Janet Chadwick back in 1979. Title- How to Live on Almost Nothing and Have Plenty. It's a great book, and so I far can only find it at the Library. I would like to find and buy a copy of my own. Any leads will be greatly appreciated.

I posted a link to an online book from 1881. I use this sometimes.

Might give Powells a try, they will also let you know when one comes available.

I already checked Powell's, abebooks.com, and about two dozen others places with websites; all have come up empty.

I've checked several used booksellers but can't find this one in anyone's inventory.
Amazon.com doesn't list it as something they have in stock, but you can leave the book title "on order" at a price level of your choosing, and they will have it on file for used book dealers or individuals who might have a copy to sell. You may also contact Dutch Salmon at High Lonesome Books (one of my favorite used booksellers, link below) and ask him to put it on a "want" list for you; if they get a copy, they will contact you. I gotten several books from them that way. I'll keep your title in mind; as a bibliophile, I am always haunting used bookstores and catalogs.

Hi Becky,
Try www.barnesandnoble.com
Type in Janet Chadwick and click search. All of her books will come up including you one you want listed as item # 6. Good luck.

I've been there, they don't have a copy in stock. Even went to amazon.com and there is already someone else waiting for a copy to come available.
Thanks for the reply.
