I have a Homelite HLT-16 with a Walbro Carb. When the unit is cold it seem to start okay. Try and preform the adjustments as per manual. (low idle screw and high idle screws) (I had it repaired last year and I notice the stops are off the high and low idle screws) I have to give it a little throttle to do the adjustments or it will stall atlow idle (with the main idle screw all the way in) I seem to get the low idle screw set (find max @ low then counter clockwise 1/8 turn) I then move to find max with High idle screw and leave it there. It will run for awhle then stall and you guessed it I can not get it started. Tried new fuel and even losened the fuel cap to see if it made a difference but it did not. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Sounds like too much oil in the mixed fuel - Try some raw fuel with NO oil for a minute. If it works okay, add the right mixed fuel and remember to run it a bit oil-rich in hot weather. The oil droplets carries the heat away from that little head. (the machine's) :)
