Get a big glass of buttermilk,Put a spoon or two of sugar in it and it's real good. If there is not much to eat I cook rice then put butter and sugar in it.

A glass of buttermilk and some left over cornbread crumpled into it is the way I like it. I'll sprinkle some fresh ground black pepper in there to spice it up a bit.

I love milk but I especially love buttermilk. I like the way it sticks to the side of the glass.

Yeah, I'm weird. At least Clipper thinks I am.

I never heard of putting pepper in your cornbread and buttermilk..But I like it that way without pepper George. Oh you know Clipper..He has been stuck on submarines for long spells.Wonder where that rascal is now?? Gurgleing in the bathtub? He cant stay away from water long.

Clipper cant stay outtuh water long. His tailfin would dry out.

I love buttermilk and cornbred too. I like it with pepper but I really love cracklin cornbread. Sometimes I just soak some pork skins in warm water to soften them up and then mix them in the batter.

Then trim it all in with a good Vidalia or 1015.

you got that right. cracklins aint the same as skins. Them skins is nearly alright if ye got a hankering and no cracklins tho.

I don't kill anything except a bull yearling ever once in awhile since the kids all moved off. If I stock the freezer too good they come by and *borry* it back empty.
