New pond about 3 weeks. Barley straw for about two weeks now, added barley pellets yesterday. Have floating plants and some hornwart, a couple of marginals, a large waterfall pump and a smaller one for the fountain head. Added fish last week and some today, but noticed the water is very merky today. Any Ideas.

howdy like any aquatic holding it takes time for bacteria to grow[good bacteria]...and anytime you have rain or alot of sun exposer ya are gonna get murky or green water...iffin ya want to speed up the proces of clearing up the water visit yer local pet shop and look into the fishtank supplies the petstore dealer should be able to help you.....dale anne

Collie, I would get some pigs to wallow in it and pack the soil down good. They will clean out all of those water plants and algee too.

Did ya see where Bob Told Ei that I should disc her garden or plow it or somtun.

Can you believe that man? I is gonna contact his Boss and have her make him a NEW list.

Hummp, imagine him tellin ei that!

Now about that pond, iffen you were to fill it with lots of dirt Collie wouldn't have that problem and this winter you won't be sinkin the tractor in it.

Ennis you need to get a plow and Toolman needs to get some pigs to wallow in that pool. The pond could provide a freezer order rather than just cat food Eh.

we,re gonna have to get judy to get a bigger list for ole bob seems he has way too much time on his hands if he,s meddlin in our buzz, as for the pond if it weren,t for the cat fishing id be filling it in with dirt insteady we,re filling it in with money, and i don,t sink that tractor in it , i just park it there for the winter, must go hockey game is startin again.
