The girls (Don's grand daughters -crazy teenyboppers) just waded the river and told us: Out neighbor Don across the river heard a commotion last nite, so took his trusty dachshund and a flashlite. About halfway to the dumpster, the doxie lit up & whizzed on past him back to the cabin. He took enough time to see a mama & twin cubs going thru his trash. So i guess we have company in the woods, maybe that's what woke me up. Bruce just started sleeping in the tent but might decide to use the spare bed for awhile yet. :)

heh heh - well hey clod, we can try a diversion i learned from al quaeda. Maybe trickle a little (oil, i mean) honey on those fire ants and let the bears argue with them - that way you don't have to care who wins, but it provides a chance to regroup by keeping the opposition occupied. :)
