;-)

Ron, seems I am becoming the "Drivel" Queen here!!
Oh well at least I am Royalty.

I thought the D-Day thing was really good.
I stole it from another site.

Some one asked me a question earlier, I cant find it now. I was headed to church and did not have time to answer.
I was asked what I, ~Lenore, thought a talerban was. I sort of thought it was a term of endearment used when speaking of folks who post on that Tales Board. At least that was my impression.
When I used that term in replying to Aprille's question about only 4 pages; I was just quoting the person who had explained it to me. I do not remember who told me. Not having the archives to look for stuff is sort of rough.

there seems to be several different opinions of what talerban means. I am fairly sure I know who coined the phrase but I don't want to get stoned next time I drive through Hankamer:^)
The definitions range from: simply those who post over on Tales; all the way to...
a select group on Tales who work together to get certain folks "banned".
Some folks seem to think there is a tightknit group there that wants to "run" that board (surely not).... happens to any organization sooner or later. I've seen it on jobs, charities, churches and youth organizations so it does not surprise me to hear of it on an internet forum.
The above is just my observation and yes, "I approved this message" :^)

I figured someone would relate to my explanation.
I was trying to cover all bases and also protect my backside.
I know Ron,ar said I had been "thru the fire" before,
but I like to have a little fire insurance when I enter risky territory.

Hey Burr, I wasn't referring to any one person in particular in that thread earlier. After going back and re reading it I just didn't want you to think it was only meant like towards you alone. It kinda reads that way now that I read it again. Sorry : ) Have a good nite

Yes, with only four active pages, things go away so quickly!!
It really makes it impossible to check back on anything.
I hope it will be back to "normal" before too long.
The person who explained it to me said Ms. Kim was working on it.
