Our family dog keeps getting sanke bite and I think it is one in the wash house out back. Hombre seems to migrate there when there is thunder or gun fire around here and Maggie had to go a blow a racoon off the back porch when he got bit tthe second time. Around here we are probaply looking at copperheads or watermexicans! Any help will be welcomed. I hear Hombre drinking water on the back porch as we speak so he must be feeling better.

Vic, I sure hope Hombre' recovers soon,
if he is drinking water, I feel he will be OK.
I had a cat (not TC) that was snake bit before and he did.
His face was swollen for several days.

Staple down or otherwise secure several of those sticky glue rat traps where you know the snake has been hanging out. Make sure the traps can't move til you want them moved (snakes are strong) or it'll crawl away with the traps stuck on.

Snake will crawl across the traps and get stuck good. When you're ready to release him you can use light oil (like salad oil) to loosen the glue, or you can kill it and dispose of the whole mess whichever you prefer. Keep the dog away while your trying to trap the snake or he'll get stuck too.
