"There's a little black spot on the sun today"
I remember when my daughter used to listen to that song over and over and over....:(
You had to go and remind me now, dincha? ";^)
Thanks for the posting. I don't think I'll try to look at it for myself. I 'member watching that annular eclipse a few years ago and just about wrecking my eyes.

There is so much commotion over this and the next transit (2012 I think)...Many are expecting the 'rapture'...Some people are predicting 3 comets (we can't see of course) are going to impact the Earth by the end of the month...

I am betting that everyone is still going to have bills at Christmas this year...

Just went out to get my welding goggles...Cleaning em now...Suggest DARK goggles or don't even try and look...The page below has the maps of where it will be visible...OF COURSE...North America loses out on the full effect, but way up here there should be a partial crossing...

Is the goggles enough or should I grab the helmet

ret    Posted 06-08-2004 at 08:56:58       [Reply]  [No Email]
most gas welding goggles are not strong enough , use the arc welding ones

Darker the better...

If it hurts looking at the sun...even a bit...STOP and watch it on the net...
