we had it down here on the beach about a month ago.we went from 2 inches behind to 12 inches ahead in 3 weeks.just been getting light showers in Corpus Christi this week

Seems most of the heavy rains have been west of us here in the Houston Beaumont area.
We have had rain, enough to make mowing my yard a busy job.
If it moves north of us then the dams up there release there water and our rivers and creeks over flow their banks.
Just something we are used to.
Thank goodness in the 20+ years I have lived here my place has never flooded.
Some areas of my town have but not mine.
