i'm so sick of the rain ,must have rained for the last 30 days except a day or two. I'd even tolerate the dang rain but it comes with THUNDER and I hate it and the lighting just scares the dickens out of me.

I agree with TO. The thunder and lightning just amaze me. If we could figure out a way to harness that stuff we would never need for energy. Hey wait a minute, I've heard you wommens yell about as loud as thunder. Hows come you're afraid of that. LOL :)

i'm not a yeller never have been .mom was english and never allowed us to raise our voice. she would punish us when we yelled at eachother. she was a sulker ,when we made her mad she would refuse to speak to us for hours at a time.

I am always picking on Marci like this too. She doesn't even like power tools because they're noisey. I'll say "You work in an office full of women and you can't handle this little thing"? I wonder why she hits me so much? LOL.

I do have to say though that I am very tired of all this rain. Wish we could send it somewhere where they could use it.

i've never know you to be out of line,so i thank you for the offer. when i was a little girl my grandma used to hide under the bed when the thunder and lighting came so i guess maybe it kinda left me thinking i oughta be afraid and i've never outgrown it.

I have always found lightening fascinating and even exciting. I do respect that it is extremely powerful and can be deadly.

In a strange sense I find it as beautiful as a sunsets and rainbows. I just think of it as more of God's handi work. Breathtaking.

You are right there Lenore, it is beautiful but at times deadly, and we all know how beautiful and deadly go hand in hand. Love watching storms too. And sunrises, sunsets, rainbows, the smell of the good earth after a shower...the good, bad, ugly all rolled into this thing we call life, so we got to take it all at times. But, I do enjoy a storm also.
