Well we finally got to cut wheat yesterday. I stayed here at the elevator until 10 last night, not too awfully late. We had right at 200 trucks come in, about 100,000 bushels. Should be another huge wheat day for us, if we don't get the rain they are predicting. I get tomorrow off though, which is wonderful, give me a chance to get off to church them come home and get stuff done. I foolishly promised 3 doz cookies for vacation bible school. Also need to work on some produce from the garden and get it put away. Why does everything have to come at once? lol. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Nice to hear you had a good wheat crop. We will have a very poor one this year as the freeze plus no rain got it all. We will start harvest in about two weeks, but less than 50 bushels most fields. Some farmers discing up.

I'm not farming now... retired. Not sure the numbers now but I'll ask a friend and get back to you. I just help drive truck now during harvest.
