I don't remember which movie it was but I think it was in Big Jake when the movie comes on an John Wayne gets to the RR station the sign says Liberty, Texas.

Whatever happened to the new cafe they was gonna put in the old RR station in Liberty?? It was in the Anahuac paper several years ago and they fixed the building up but I never saw a cafe in it yet.

Come to think of it me an my child bride went to Liberty about a month or 2 ago for Sunday dinner and the Coral was closed. I don't like fried chicken or the colonel so we come home and had fried boloney and bisquits w/gravey.

I hope the G-C aint closed for good. That's where I like to go eat. Ye can't smoke in any cafe in Baytown that I know of now. No smoking at the Coral and no smoking at Ryan's anyway.

Sent one just now Burr,, Yes,Did you ever se the old depot in Dayton? Too bad they did not put superglue all over it and freeze it the way it was. It was beautiful..But only after I realized it was gone. They make big statements in the county but fail to carry out their plans. There could be a reason for this .I hope they do keep the train depot in good repair. They bring back great memories.
