For a Yankee to get in here or is it Texas Only night?

They let us Arkansas folks in don't they? Anybody north of the Red river is considered a yankee to Texicans, espicially the lippy ones.
On the other hand, I was born and raised in south east Texas. :^)

Sort of feels like it might be a Texas take over brewing here

You know sorta like squatters. ;-)

I know what you mean ron.
I got a piece of land, a small lot in my divorce.
I was told someone was fencing it in with their property.
I am still paying taxes on it.
I have never been to look at it even.

Ok-thanks guys-just thought I'd check.
{Note I don't use the term "Y'All", I figure that's a southern term and for a northerner to use it would be disrespectful}

I am a yankee turned Virginian, Guess you might say I am lost. Boy, quiet in here, could shoot a gun in here and wouldn't hit anybody.

speaking of Tx, my step son is way down to the gulf right now at a naval base for two weeks trainng with the N guard, loading ships with a computerized method. Pretty neat program
REt guns are put away now, that pretty girl scared me

Burrhead    Posted 06-12-2004 at 19:20:51       [Reply]  [No Email]
I wish that gal would wink. I git nervous when wimmin is pointing guns and don't grin or wink.

They shipped alot of kids out from here to go thru some sort of docking and ship loading.

Where did they send your son? Most of the kids from here they send to Corpus. I guess so they won't sneak off and go home every night from Houston.

I think he said Beaumont, maybe I didn't hear him right. He has 4 years reg army and about 15 years in the reserve and guard. He lives way up in N ca, and sure seems like a long way to ship him when he usually goes to Long Beach. He has been doing this comp loading for about 3 years now, he says it beats riding in a tank or driving a truck
