Does anybody have any tried and true methods of eradicating Sumac?
Thanks in advance!

Hmmmm, Thanks Y'all!
I had figured that RoundUp wouldn't work, as Sumac is 'barky', and I don't have much luck killing things with bark, but I'll give it a shot. I like to mix my own, and make it so it's pretty close to Agent Orange strength, kills everything in site.
I'll let you know how it works, Thanks again!

Roundup will kill it but it kills ever thing else too. I use Remedy or 2-4-D.

It kills better to mow first and then when its fresh cut as soon as you finish mowing go back right then with some 2-4-D.

I gotta figger out how to put a drip line and barrel on the bush-hog and do it all at 1 pass. All the wet/dry weather we've had this year I have 30-40 acres geting plenty of sumac and tallow scrubs coming in.

Thelma, hon, you find a way,
please come back and tell us!
It grows and grows and grows.
I mow and mow and spray and spray!
I do not see any progress on my part.
