Hey Clod Green, I think your nephew Harold down there at the Possum Lodge South could use some councelling. Have him Email me and I will tune him in as far as the D8 brakes go and help him keep his stick on the ice. Did you read my reply to you late last night?
Later Bob

Yes bob he did: I did too.
I sure was impressed, I even understood it.
Told him I thought I might have to open a shop,
I was getting so smart.

had a boss like that once , went to work one moring he was still half drunk, loader was down he told us to grease our trucks, told him we couldn,t because he took all the grease guns out of them a few weeks back, he went found the guns , i was sitting up in a triple 7, he came over yelling , i opened the door to see what he was yelling at, he threw the gun hit me on the side of the arm and neck, i grabbed it threw it back at him along with my hard hat climbed down off the truck and showed him what he could do with the grease gun, never botherd me again, actually stayed away from me more often than not after that.

hey clod,
how long has this man been your boss? he must not appreciate the fact that you want to fix it once.

i had a boss onct. he had two rules:

#1 he was always right.

#2 if he was wrong read rule number one.

Why Clod don't you know the boss is always right? That's why he is the boss. I know how you must feel as I have run across a few of them in my time also.

Sid, I have been meaning to thank you for the advice and comments about the bean innoculant. I tried it and was surprised at how fast the beans germinated. I planted some on Tues. and they were breaking through by Fri.

Clod, I was the most fortunate worker I ever knew. I worked for 44 years without a boss. I was sent to the job but never did anyone tell me what to do or how to do it. Once, when I was in my 40's, a college boy tried to tell me what to do but by then I was over the hill as far as being set in my ways. That poor kid didn't have a chance. When he complained to the higher-ups, they told him not to ever bother me again.

You welcome, hope they do good.

that work story of yours reminds me of most of my kin. tend to be sought after, then left alone while we get it done. -- then, thank you, pay me.

Can you immagine a bunch of lumberjacks sawing a giant tree down,,They holler TIMMMBEEERRR! The boss just stands in the path of the falling tree and says. That tree cant hit me because I am the boss here.Bosses are always right because they are in charge of the money that finances the job. But a boss who defies the laws of physics will eventually pay the extra cost. The machinery does not care who is the boss,If the boss runs a machine without oil it will crash and burn.
