Well problem

The well supplies outside garden hoses only.
After about 5 minutes the pressure drops and water flow stops completely. After a few minutes the pressure comes back but goes out again in a few minutes.
I don't know if it is the submersible pump or the bladder pressure tank. The pressure tank was replaced about 2 years ago. The pump was replaced about 4-5 years ago. Where do I start?
I'm new at this well stuff.

Well sounds like your pump isn't deep enough below water level (inadequate water head) and there's not enough inflow to keep the system charged. If there's room, you'll have to raise the pipe and pump, add a section to it and reseat the thing. Often happens around irrigators - boy those things can dry up an aquafer in a hurry. Don't let that pump run dry without water very long - it'll cook itself. :)
