Another day off?

"So you want another day off?" snorted the office manager to his clerk. "I'm anxious to hear what excuse you have this time. You've been off for your grandfather's funeral four times already."

Replied the clerk, "Today my grandma is getting married again".

I worked with a neighbor that took off 3 times for his own mother's funeral and got away with it. The boss got kinda lathered up when he wanted off to go to his only dotter's funeral twice in 6 months.

That was 15-20 years ago. His Mama is getting kinda frail now but not too bad for a dead woman and his dead dotter was over to visit my wife a month or so back.

Whatever them wimmin are taking has got to be alot better than viagra to raise dead things.

My boss wont let me take off for my own funeral..I guess I will work that day too.
