Is there a difference between female/male cowboy h

I got asked this question the other day and the only reason I was asked is because I listen to country music but it got me wondering if there is a difference? Just thought somebody might be able to help me out.

Reminds me of the Old man who asked the boy, hey boy you got on western boots or cowboy boots?...he said I dunno how can you tell?....well son cowboy boots have stuff on them...western boots have stuff in them...lol

Prolly a sizing difference not much else ceptin color.Wouldn't be too likely to see a lotta cowboys wearin pink,red or teal stetsons :)

Most times there's a diffrence in underwear,which you cant see anyhow,, but you can tell the cowboys who wear ladies underwear by the way they walk,

Yes. Hence cowboy/cowgirl. Haven't you heard. Cowgirls say 'he11 yeah!'

There are some cow women in history but not that many, and they typically disguised themselves as men in order not to be harrassed. But I think either one can do the job with the proper training.
