Sorry so late on a reply to your post down below, Dave....you were asking for a translation to Norse of "rest in peace", there probably is a proper norse epitaph to equal this term...but a loose translation accorking to my dictionary would go something like this "Hville om Fred"... pronunciation would be, "Veeler Oomm Frayd", the 'ay'would be hard 'a'....hope this is of some value....Fernan would be of more assistance on this than I....

And, my sincerest condolances on the passing of your loved one, adjo, R.E.L.
