haven't launched it quite yet. I did get most of the turning parts (widow makers) covered though, made a cainguard outa a sewer pipe, that turned out nice, then i found a good spot to mount the rudder, then got an idler for the belt so it has a clutch. I hope to roll out a coupla strips of old mine belting for my boat ramp - trailers sink pretty readily and they don't all have "Red Green" extendible tongues. I expect one day soon a neighbor will start cussing fireworks and see a cloud of churning spray on the lake pushing an old finn in a fishing boat. Yup that's the
plan. :)

Been following up on your boat project..sometimes missing a link or two blamed on my poor knowledge of the mechanic sciences, it doesn't matter anyway..you got it all under control there. Keep us posted:-)

Yeah...that ole boy has a lot going for him in the smarts department.....can't realy see him sinking.....well.....maybe just a tadd low in the water......R.E.L.
