...needed, if you please... I just got a call out of the clear blue sky from a lady at a temp service here. She found my resume on an online job site, and just called me right up... Oh, man!!!! She offered me the chance to go for a job here in town (where good jobs are scarce) that would pay me $30,000!!!!! I never made such a wage in my life. I never even made two-thirds of that. So please, send a few words up for me, to get this position, to not face any repercussions from my spiteful boss, and to be able to do the best work this place has ever seen so they'll hire me on permanent.

George- I saw where you posted the other day, and I love you too, man, but I am from now on an "infrequent flyer." :)

That's great Melanie, but it's no surprise to many of us with whom you have shared, at one time or another on different forums, a little bit about the hard work you have had trying to jumble together home and school.
And doing a great job too.
Success!
Patria

No, I didn't see one come in... would you resend it? I'll check my junk mail file for a while and make sure you're not getting stuck in my filters. :)

Oh Melanie, I pray that you will have an exceptional interview and you will be just what that company wants and needs.
I also pray you will make a good impression on the person interviewing you and that you will be hired, and I ask it in Jesus name. Amen

Well that is good news! Keeping a job is easy - just figure out what the company needs, and do your best to provide it for them. Be stubborn in that - anybody who isn't helping is a roadblock. And there's a good reason to think that way - If the company makes money, we all make money. :)

I Got your prayer covered Melanie. Good luck and go in with a positive attitude. People don't like cockey, but they love self assurance....gfp

Hey, that sounds promising: You may be able to afford your place in the country sooner than you thought.

I know!!!! Wouldn't that be amazing? I would be so overjoyed. I won't count chickens yet, but I plan to go get some of them real estate books for the rural coast areas as soon as she tells me I got it. ;) Then I will be on here asking all sorts of questions about "livestock for dummies." YAY!!!!!
