huh?? mud did you say sumthin???

hope I would'nt get caught short. I think some folks can get with fewer creature comfort items.

If I got something I use it but if I dont have it I don't make a big deal out of it and just go ahead on anyways.

Comere mud, gimee a big ole hug. Its alright. At least you didn't ruffle peoples feathers today. I didn't mean to start nothing, not really, I was just venting.

Heres my take on your comment. I think sometimes we have too many gadgets and too much technology and not enough good old fashioned family and friend time. :) Gone are the days of sitting out listening to the crickets and telling tales. Gone are the trips down to the creek to catch some crawfish and tadpoles. Can't do things like that, might get shot at, your kid might get kidnapped. Its a whole nuther ballgame.

Aw Kelly I'm shippin you some of my chill pills. That way you never hafta worry about what ye said cause ye don't recall. Them VA docs might not can fix ye but they can make ye fergit whats wrong with ye. ;^)

OT- I always liked foxhunting. There was genly a full night of pure BS, not to mention some buxx from trading or sellin dawgs

An something else. When I was an upstart, a young man called on a young lady they sat on the porch or parlor in full view. There was'nt any running off and burying up in a TV or video game.

I think I liked it better like that. If I had known Ma Burr could beat me at Miss Pacman I probly wudduh passed on her marriage proposal.

Mud, I know how you feel, but let me tell you something--just because people don't answer on here doesn't mean they don't read--or that they don't care-because they are really a nice bunch of people-
Admittedly, it took me a while to figure that out myself--so just hang in there and keep posting-that's what I did and I've made some good friends here.

Mud,,I bet Jimbob would enjoy that one.He is into survival.Often post on that subject.I dont answer every post I read..Maybe every other one though.. But I read just about every one. Some talk more on other subjects.. Like polebarns or flowers. I would have gotten into the story you posted but I was off at the other side of the planet..This board was not working.
