I have acquired an old perfection kerosene heater believed to have the original wick still in good shape, I am looking for information on how old it is and what the value of it may be. Its a tan color with a glass globe which has flames in the glass. has a metal handle with a wire handle piece. Any information would be appreciated. Also have some old newspapers in fair shape, dated for 1899 complete and all readable. Any offers will be considered.

Spent quite a bit of time researching a Perfection heater a few years ago and can tell you that there is precious little information available on them.

I don't have any of my old notes handy, but as I recall the model #790 was introduced in the very late 50s or early 60s, and continued in production until one of the Federal agencies changed a safety standard, sometime around 1984 or so.
