Been going on all day and I have lost count how many have started. We have 98% of our guys on them all over the place. I am the only one left + 1 other truck up here for the area our homes are in. The lightning is moving closer to us but has started many fires all around me. There not real big but some are growing. The closest one is about 5 miles as the crow flys and I can see the smoke from it. More lightning tomorrow and all night. It is realey wild out and the radios are talking off the hook. We have many Smoke jumpers hitting lots of remote strikes. I am OK just waiting for the storm to blow over. It is real windy and not the best time for a fire to happen. Sure glad my feilds are cut and the brush is gone! All dressed and ready to go, truck warmed up and full of water. What a night! Mark H.

We're pullin for ya. Be real careful, and if stuff catches fire, remember its only stuff. You're you, don't get crazy.

Were pretty safe at the homestead now. All trimed up and clear around any buildings. Can't say that for a lot of the homes up here they did not learn during the last big fire we had. Rumbles are in the air around us. We may have lost a truck in the fire, it broke down. Have not heard for sure but there needing to use a cat to get it out. That is one way to get a new one. I did hear tell that truck to get out of there and then I heard I think it is broke down. Then I heard it is in the front of the fire. Later on a wrecker is needed. So 2 + 2 said it is not looking good for the truck! Fill more in later back on the radio I go. Mark H.

Don't need anymore it right over head now! Lost power several times allready. DRN is spread so thin they are having a hard time responding now. I will have to go off line due to the lightning. It was another agency who lost there truck on our fire. Be safe out there. Another storm tomorrow. Later, Mark H.
