I am working on writing a paper for a college class, (Intercultural Communication) and I am supposed to examine two different cultures, and how they might communicate. I am doing my paper on college life vs. farm/rural life. If anyone could help me out by pointing me to a website that might contain "a day in the life of" articles or just some info on what its like to live in the country, it would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know what college you go to but I would think a little time around the campus would help. Talk to a couple teachers in agriculture and some students who obviously look the city versus country part and see what you can learn. I experienced this and heard a lot of crap from city people who don't appreciate how they get fed and some stuff from country people who don't open up to learn the other side of the fence.

Farm and Ranch Living magazine has articles each month featuring 2-3 different farm or ranch operations and it's usually "A Day in the Life..." format. You can access the articles from the link below.

You are already at the right place. Get out of this posting window and back to the message list. Go to the top and select "view archive."

Just click through all the post topics until you find something you consider to be a comparison of city vs country. This forum is chock full of those posts almost every day.
