Texas rain/escaped convicts

I just made it back from southeast Texas, been there all week. It rained there all week, poured, flooded is a better word.
Remember the renter that I asked about a few weeks ago? Well, he is gone, got him out and most of his stuff is gone too. That worked out well. That property was in Highlands, Texas.
The rain hampered our efforts at getting any serious work done.
While down there there were some guys escaped from the Liberty County jail. Big manhunt all week. After working on that building all week in Highlands we heard last night that those three convicts were captured across the street from where we were working. When they gave the description on Ch-13 of the building they were at they just said Main street and Jones rd in Highlands which is where the property is. Had us worried some till we figured out it was across the street.
So what did I miss out here?

Ron,, I thought a Catholic church was at the intersection of Main and Jones Rd. You may have seen my kin or the con man with the boat just a couple of blocks up toward the freeway there. Hes got a traveltrailer park where the old riverhouse was.

Yep the Catholic church is across Main street from this property. The other (convict's place) house is across Jones road from Dads prpperty which is on the corner of Main and Jones rd. I grew up on that corner. I remember the story you told about the boat:^)
I also remember the old Riverside Inn too, long time ago it was quite a place.

I don't recall seeing one just like that. I had a Black 55 myself that I sold to someone that lived in Dayton or Liberty. It was gloss black with white racing stripes across the trunk and down the fenders. I sold it in '69
