Them yanks have some beautiful wheat fields Clod and they aint even muddy.

I never saw a John Deere combine like that black one in the pix tho. Must be experimental by it not having any name badges on it.

Sometimes we do sling mud way back behind us--but not cause we intentionally pumped water in the field--mother nature does that for us some years!!

I like the ones with V8 Olds engines.Auger carts that are homemade.

Funny Burrhead,,When I was a kid we would run tractors on the rice farm None had a seat.You had to stand up all day.

my uncle took the seat off of everything. he said we would'nt pay attention and might go to sleep if we were sitting down.

Musta been true I never did go to sleep at the wheel.

They sho did.

The one that the county sent thru dragging the roads around our fields was usually operated by Uncle Comer. He was'nt anybody in our crowds uncle but we had to call adults Uncle or Mr.

It did'nt have a canopy either.
