But I came in for a quick lunch and had to pass the computer on the way to the kitchen---and figured hey---I can eat in front of th ecomputer just as well as the table--just have to try to keep the bigger crumbs out of the keyboard!!

go to Medical Records here at the horse spital and look at their keyboards. a mouse could eat free for a year at just one keyboard. I mean the crumbs are almost level with the top of the keys !!!

My wife loves to balance the checkbook, and missed the professional calculator she had at the bank. I got her one for Christmas. My daughter and her friend promptly spilled RC in it. We found it after it dried in there, and we disassembled and cleaned it, but it still sticks really bad. I hate it when that happens!

I use ether to clean that kind of stuff. It will cut the cola syrup out and then dries completely. No more sticky keys.

It does pretty good to get bubble gum out of the kids hair. ;^) it's also one of the handy man's secret weapons for getting stains out of carpet or clothes too.

Wow, ether is something I had never though of. I imagined something like that would melt the plastic case and key assemblies under there. thanks!! 8)

Gosh, Burr. I think you may need to change your name to "Martha". You seem to be awful handy at cleaning! (BTW, my hubby has put in his time in the trenches and I think "it's a good thing"!)

LMAO naw, better not call me Martha or that feller that wears dresses around here might hit me with a purse.

When you have been around as many kids as I have you pick up on short cuts to keep everybody outtuh the dawg house when Mama gets home. The fear of God and a will to live are a good incentive for learning quick easy cleaning tips. ;^)

We raised 5 of our own kids, 2 foster and 1 nephew. When the kids were still home there was always anywhere from 10 to 25 kiddoes into any and every thing mischievious around our house.
