I like suntea,, My new jug from Wallmarts had no instructions inside but a fine print paper telling me how smart I was for buying it. Its a gallon jug.. I dumped a bunch of small tea bags not knowing what amount.I think 4 family sized bags is what I used before. But does anyone know the amounts?

Years ago when I was young my Mother used to make her sun tea out in the front yard by setting it on the back of a black car which was always there.
Some folks from Mcnair Sta would come by and steal the jug when she was not looking.
One day she put a mixture of cow manure and water in a jug and set it out there. It looked just like tea. That was the last jug that ever came up missing.

We use 6 teabags to the gallon.

After it's done, we add 3/4 cup of sugar to the gallon, too. Ummmmm, gonna go grab a glass right now!

Let me see,,He's a beekeeper so he eats a lot of honey. He says 3/4th cup of sugar... I will make it a whole cup because the honey stays in his system and he thinks it's sweet and it aint,,, ok,,

Clod..I am the summer QUEEN around here when it comes to Swee' tea or Suntea..I have to say I use 12 to 13 regular sized tea bags and depending on what I'm making I let it sit ALLL day in a sunny window..usually when the Tea becomes a dark amber colour I know it's done..Have taken to putting in Spearmint leaves because it is JUSt so good! I then add tea per glass rather than to the whole jug which is easier but I have a person around who shouldn't have that much sugar..Mmm..this is sooo good..
