Thought the movie Deliverance was scary? Try the movie I watched last night. It's called "Wrong Turn".

Hi Y'all,
I LOVE Scary Movies. They give me another
excuse to snuggle w/ my Honey. When I gets scared, she loves to cuddle & protect me.
Ooooooh FUN, Hunnh.
'Til Later..........

I haven't seen it yet. People around here complain about how it makes West Virginians look. The first national news story about WV was the Hatfields and McCoys feud. A lot of interbreeding and barefoot and pregnant stories were created by people at the national papers to make their newspapers exciting. The 'stupid, dirty hillbilly' impression still exists today. I have encountered people out of state who are honestly shocked when they find out I still have teeth. A lot of people here are furious about it. I think it's kind of funny.
When it comes down to it, I think many need to feel they are better than somebody else. It doesn't really matter who they pick. It may as well be us. Hey, maybe it will even encourage tourism! hehehe!

I thought about that making WV look bad. Ah well...let people think what they want, phooey! I liked it anyway! :)

I agree with you, many movies are based on extreme versions of stereotypes in order to be funny or scary. It's up to the individual to decide to apply the stereotype to real people or not. If it's funny, I'll laugh. Simple as that.

Good, got a lot to do today, as usual. The rain has kept the grass growing fast, I mowed yesterday, and its supposed to be 92 today, so I am staying inside and cleaning the house. :) I reckon I am going to have to get the chickens a fan. The rabbit already has one. :)
