Young turkeys fighting WHY?

I have two young turkeys and today they started fighting.I thought i had a hen and a tom.
I had to separate them or someone would loose
an eye! anyone had this problem?
any sugestions.

Growing up, we kept 150 chickens, and they seemed to just enjoy fighting. There was no specific animosity to a specific rooster, any one would do. Even us. The only one who escaped was King, who was the tallest rooster I've ever seem. Sweet dispostion. The young roosters could barely reach up past his knees.

My experience with my chickens pecking each other is one of two things:
1) Environment has changed and they are stressed
2) Bad bird - time for separation or processing if it is not a pet

With that said, there seems to always be a struggle for the top of the pecking order but dont let it come to a bird getting badly hurt.
