How did the horse do, I'm really going to be taking an intrest in this saga, as I'm a fan of draft horses, and Wifey wants a saddle horse, she got to looking over my shoulder and saw your post now she's got one of those inquiring minds that want to know.
Thanx
Ron

The horse took a saddle just fine, but we have no bridle large enough. I really wasn't ready to ride a strange horse with just a halter. (Especially a draft.) The horse was a little skittish about my reaching under the right side to straighten then girth. This did concern me a little. We brushed it and hosed it off. It seemed like she wasn't accustomed to being brushed, but put up with it.

OK at least she's not going crazy. Most of my Amish customers always claimed they wiped them down with ticking or cloth, but didn't always brush them.
Thanx
Ron
