I have an older 4500 watt homelite generator. while in use it ran out of gas. after which it was several days before I filled up with gas and used it again. this time the engine ran fine, but the generator never would produce any electricty. no breaker problems, all wires are in place. I have had several shops check it out but no one can find the problem.
any one have an idea? ....Ken

I have a LR5500 generator and I need a parts list. The off/on switch quit working and I had to by pass it by cutting the wires loose, in order to get the generator started during a Huricane. I will pay for postage in order to obtain this. Thank you.

It's sure possible you have other problems, but this no-cost fix is worth a try.
