Nephew is through New Jersey

and into New York state. Only took him 3 days to get through NJ (about 70 miles).

les my daughter's house is les than 1/2 mile from the trail in unionville ny just after high point park in nj go nephew

Sometimes I wonder just how much he is really enjoying this hike because he seems almost to be driven to do it as fast as he can. There is another through hiker that is 3 or 4 days ahead of him that he is determined to catch and pass.
He said part of what he walked through in PA was old strip mines. Very bleak, no trees, not pleasant at all.
