I don't know how or why this works but it does...

Mosquito Treatment
Pass this on to anyone who likes sitting out in the evening or when they're having a cook out. So you don't like those pesky mosquitoes, especially now that they have the potential to carry the West Nile Virus?

Here's a tip that was given at a recent gardening forum. Put some water in a white dinner plate and add a couple drops of Lemon Fresh Joy dish detergent. Set the dish on your porch, patio, or other outdoor area. Not sure what attracts them, the lemon smell, the white plate color, or what, but mosquitoes flock to it, and drop dead shortly after drinking the Lemon Fresh Joy/water mixture, and usually within about 10 feet of the plate. Check this out---it works just super!

May seem trivial, but it may help control mosquitoes around your home, especially in the South and elsewhere where the West Nile virus is reaching epidemic proportions in mosquitoes, birds, and humans.

Not that i don't trust ya, but i've been swatting those things a long time and i've found the solutions are designed for consumers, not mosquitoes. Like fishing lures are designed to appeal to fishermen, not especially fish. Avon skin-so-soft doesn't help. Softener sheets in your cap make your bald spot smell good, even Coleman built a gas gadget that did nothing & started raking in $100 bills off mosquitoes - You sure?

I hear the thing on Avon,, I bet the rumor was put out by Avon,This may be best for Avon but moquitoes dont care for rumors.I would like this remedy tried out on Gulf coast moquitoes. They would drink the soap and take off with the plate. Have you tried it TO 92?? OK,,Heres one for ticks and superglue for you to try and report back on.. Nail polish remover is sapposed to get ticks off you skin,,(Those that are having lunch) Nail polish also removes superglue.

I was bothered by deer flys the other day in the boat, dug some (odorless Off) skintastic lotion outa my tackle box, smeared it on and they went away. Only thing that works so far. BTW, when you feel a mosquito bite, start holding your breath. Your skin starts shrinking fast enough to trap him by the stinger and you can torture him. I've heard. :)
