Read somewheres I think At jasksi's online that he was charged with a misdermeanor and promptly escorted off to the stony lonesome....several years ago a fan threw a beer bottle thru the windshield of D. Waltrips car as he was leading the race, he had to pit to replace the windshield and lost the race....just goes to show you what kind of upbringing these types of "Fans" have...
not a very good one IMHO.....

Just a question. Do you think NASCAR fans are just generally more angry than they used to be, and that's why they sometimes behave like that.

Do you think waiting in line for 3-4 hours (or 3-4 days) to get in, a $250 ticket, a 3 mile walk to their seat, a $10 hamburger and a $12 beer, and a screwed up set of rules, and then the 12 hour traffic jamb to get out of the place makes them a little hostile? Not excusing the behavior, just trying to understand it.

NASCAR ceased to be fun at the track for us about 10 years ago.

I think particularly in the past 2-3 years they have gotten the cars too close competitively and to many races are being won either on fuel mileage or in the pits. The quality of racing has deteriorated in this fan's opinion
