We know a family who lost a teenage daughter yesterday. The poor girl had been very ill for many years. Couldn't sleep last night for thinking about how she had been an influence on the many friends and neighbors who had cared for her over the years. She was always free with a smile, long after she couldn't speak. If Easter is supposed to give us hope, then I hope that I can remember that smile.
Everyone knew she would someday pass on.
We all will. They say each of us leave something behind in the hearts of others. Funny, I can't see her as she was before, just that smile.
Guess we all have a gift of some sort to give others. I have never seen an angel, but maybe now I think I saw one smile.

My heart goes out to the family.

March 27th will always be a bad day here, it's the day we said our final good byes as we buried our infant son last year.

I lost my very favorite aunt on March 31, 1986. She was my father's sister and like a second mother to me. How sad for a young girl like that to go. More than I could ever stand. I guess God must have known that and let mine grow up and give me grandkids.

March 31 will always be a sad day for me - it is the anniversary of my mother's death - this year being the sixth.

I'm sure you did Mike.

I still don't understand why things like that happen. They say we each have a purpose.

Nice words you spoke of her.

She's up there in peace, smiling now.

My grand mother alaways said god goes to the garden and picks the prettys flower and takes it. In my family that would be 14 year old brother . If that is true i,ll live to a ripe old age. Wish the family well
