Sediment still get us down

We built a new home 14 years ago, and had a well put in.Shortly there after had to put in an omni dual whole house system, mostly to take out the sediment in our water. Most recently I installed a water filter cartridge like ice makers use, post line of the omni system going to the washer, and yet it still requires cleaning the screen once a month for the washer. What we end up doing sometimes is washing in hotter water than required just to get the wash done.HELP.
Seriously, any comments would be appreciated.

Not sure what the problem is with your filtering system, but I'd say there is one.

I use a 20 micron (prefer 30 micron when I can find them, but they're harder to find around here) filter as a pre-filter, followed by a 5 micron filter.

In the summer time, when I guess we're using more water and the water table is lower, the pre-filter gets sandy (even muddy sometimes) and I have to change filters every 60 days or so. In the winter time it is probably more like every 4 months.

At not time, even when we're using heavily and water is low, do we have to clean the washer screen. I can even immagine that, since the screen is so coarse. you must be getting water going around your filter system somehow or a total failure of the system. I'd get it checked, because even a 20 micron filter would be stopping particles too small for your washer screen!

I invented a centrifugal condenser. It should be on the market as soon as the Chinese get wind of it.
