You've been holding out on us, ya rascal! That tembleque recipe down below sounds absolutely great for us custard lovers. Oh, the really tall stool's no problem but how often can you milk a coconut? :)
Hey - you still interpreting for the chupacabra people? Did they reach any conclusions?

Do I know my people or what!?!?
I just knew you'd come forward and comment on the Tembleque recipe..it was just a matter of time..:-)

There is an interesting and delicious variation to that recipe..Arróz con Dulce..or Sweet rice pudding. This one is also a must[?] during the Christmas Holidays.

Here's the recipe:

http://www.recipecottage.com/caribbean/arroz-con-dulce.html

I like ginger but will not use it in this one..and as for the cloves I use only about five of the one that comes dry and in small pieces[?].
I'll go easy on the cloves.

As for the chupacabras documentary it's done now.
They were back to Holland about two weeks ago.
I worked on pre-production for about three weeks before they were due to arrive in PR for the shootings. The show's name is Mission Unfindable from BNN station in Holland..like the answer to Unsolved Mysteries. The hostess..Katja Schuurman is a very popular dutch entertainer and actress; a beautiful woman and a great human being also.
They contacted my husband through an expat website and that's how I got this gig. In their first mail the producer told me that they needed a translator for the interviews to be shoot, and middle person that could make sure that the contacts they had already made through mails and phone calls were a sure thing; they had language barriers..thank goodness..hehe
In one of the first mails contacts I asked them whether they would like to make an appeareance on our tv..and they loved it. I got them a magazine kind of morning show here..host also by the man who gave the name Chupacabras to the farm animal-killing creature. Before this, I had not paid much attention to the goat-sucker issue. I learned some very interesting details but I'm still a somewhat sceptical[?] bystander. There are several scientists, and researchers of all kinds after this phenomena...some say is an alien..some that is a USA lab creation that started after that UFO crash in the 50's..I think. The truth is..there is a lot going on that the common public is not aware of..who knows..
Had a lot of fun, though..

Take Care DC
Patria
