I've gotten in the habit of taking my camera with me when I ride on these back roads, snapping pictures from horseback. I was out in the boonies admiring this year's corn crop when I looked up and saw Old Glory waving in the distance over the tall stalks. It did my heart good. God bless America!

I envy you having your own horse to ride . Put a pics of you & that horse on here . I don't think my toosh & back could take riding nowadays . But I love the thought though . that's a beautiful pics . thanks , ken C

that is beautiful... it looks like that here to in north central iowa, the corn looks great even the pond replants, the beans are comming along nicely a little small maybe but the temps are going to reach almost 90 with a 100+% humidity, the cicaidas are singing it is truely summer in the great midwest.

Spent a nice relaxing weekend in the seat of my Ford tractor this weekend and couldn't help but admire this year's corn crop. NW Missouri crops are 7-9 ft high and the corn is soooooo sweet. Looks like a good year for corn. Now cross your fingers for the beans ... although they are already starting to get big. Good picture.
