If you haven't you should, I feel compelled to watch it everytime I catch it on one of the movie channels.

The music they sing is so haunting, but wonderful. ONe of the songs is "Oh Death". Y'all know that one, everybody knows Ralph Stanley. :)

I haven't seen Songcatcher, but I have heard Mr. Stanley's rendition of "O Death". Haunting. I am going to have to watch the movie to see if the old lady you mention sounds like my wife's best friend's grandmother.

Morning. Never saw that one but I'll be sure to watch for it.
Have you ever seen What am I Bid, starring LeRoy VanDyke?
You'd like it--lots of old good country music and some good farm scenes!
