Had my 1000 gallon tank filled Wednesday. Only took 300g. Cost 98.9/gal. I own the tank, not a lease.
I was surprised that it was only 98.9 with the gasoline and diesel price increases over the past few months. I paid 89.9 last October and I expected more than a 9 cent increase.

Is that about average, or did I stumble onto a bit of luck?

One of the dealers is offering a special pre-buy to all members of a large church, which heats with propane - $1.049. My dealer hasn't set a prebuy price yet, says market is fluctuating too much!

I only have a 22lb.[?] tank for the grill. Last year a fill cost me $ 7.00 and saturday when I filled it $7.50. not much of an increase.

Can't wait until winter so I can re-mortgage the house to keep warm.

Just ordered a fill up (500 to 600 gallons) and the price in Morgantown, WV is $1.04 plus tax. Since I own the tank it saves a little.

one of the 2 locals wanted $1.74 so I called the other one and he's cutting deals and will fill the tank for $1.70.

If it was just $1.04 here I think I would get a bigger tank and stock up.
