Of all his songs, that is my favorite. Must be circa '69 or '70. I remember that being on the radio when we were first married.

BB King and Clapton...what a trip..

"I stepped out of Mississippi when I was ten years old
With a suit cut sharp as a razor and a heart made of gold.
I had a guitar hanging just about waist high
And I'm gonna play this thing until the day I die.
Don't you know we're riding with the king?"

Foreigner or The Eagles..great also.

Now you guys are torturing me ya know!
It is very difficult for a disc jockey to resist playing every song she hears someone reminisce about.
I love the Eagles but can not get any of their songs at this time.
CCR also a favorite group of mine.
Saw B B King in person in a little black club in a small town in La. long ago.
We were the only whites in the place, it was before folks did that over there.

Lately I've been listening to alot of "Oldies". I found an old album by Elvis too, sounds like maybe just a Jam Session done at his house or something. Lotsa stuff I'd never heard before but some good music : ) Does anyone know if he ever "put out" a song that in the chorus has the words---True Love travels on a gravel road? (may be "down" a gravel road, kinda unclear in some places) I'd never heard it before but it's a pretty song. Sorry for rambling, Thanks for all the songs Lenore, Angel flying too close to the Ground has always been one of My Favorites too and I'll watch Honeysuckle Rose just to hear that song. You had also posted something awhile back about how Ladies "prespire" and don't was quite funny but I can't find it in the archives and would like to share it with my Mom if you could post it again or send it to me. Thanks! Take Care & God Bless Ya'll
