To paynts : Tough Cookie Recipes

I am sorry, I don't recall just what I typed on Google to find that recipe, but there are a zillion good ones to be found. If you like the cookie squares, just type in Fruit Cookie Squares Recipes, and it will give you a bunch. Cookie Recipes will bring up a big choice. When my youngest bro was in Vietnam, we sent cookies all the time, and the fruit bars and molasses cookies were the biggest hit among the boys. Just type in Molassses Cookies, and take a look at those!
I moved this up because I could see the old post was soon going to leave the board. Hope this helps.

And Paynts, you might think about including in your package some sunflower seeds, jerkey, and anything else you can think of that is non-perishable in the way of food. A cousin of my husband's is in Afganistan and his folks sent him a package with these things included. He said it sure was a hit, not only with him but the rest of the guys with him. The food over in those countrys is really bad and they have to eat MRE's a lot in order to not get dysentary, so ANY food treat is welcome.
